Aviagra – Recommended Feeding Plans SInce birds eat variable amounts of seed and often do not drink all of the water offered, the best method to assure that your bird has received the specified daily dosage is to sprinkle the dose on a piece of moist fruit or vegetable and observe that it is all eaten. For birds that are on a seed or pellet diet and will not accept fruit or vegetables, lightly coat the seed or pellets with a vegetable oil and dust them with the supplement. This will help assure that the supplement will stay on the feed rather than settling to the bottom of the feed dish. A final method would be to add Aviagra to drinking water. This is the least precise dosing since birds vary so much in the daily amount of water they drink and smaller birds drink very little. For this reason, we recommend a bit more supplement in the daily water than in feed. We also recommend changing water at least daily when supplement has been added to avoid bacterial overgrowth.

For bulk mixture in drinking water – use 4 tsp per Gallon For bulk mixture of chopped fruit and vegetables – use 1/4 tsp per 16 oz (1 lb) of feed Note: The measurement scoop supplied with Aviagra is 1/4 tsp
